Meet Your Event Planner

I've always believed that the magic of any event lives in the details; not the grand gestures, but the small, intentional moments that make your guests feel something. That belief has driven everything I've done since I first fell in love with this industry, and it's the foundation of every event I plan today.

My path into events wasn't accidental. I studied hospitality management at SMCC, where I gained real, hands-on experience at the McKernan Center and Spring Point Inn; observing, assisting, and absorbing everything I could about what it takes to execute an exceptional event. That foundation taught me how to think on my feet, anticipate problems before they happen, and hold an event together with grace when things don't go according to plan. And in this industry, they sometimes don't.

Since then, I've been honing my skills and building my career; working through all kinds of celebrations, from intimate dinner parties and baby showers to weddings, graduations, and anniversaries. I'm still early in my journey and proud of it. Every event I take on makes me sharper, more resourceful, and more committed to doing this work at the highest level.

What I bring to the table right now is something that can't be easily taught; a deep knowledge of Islesboro, its people, and the very particular coordination of pulling off a beautiful event on this island. There are no traditional venues, no nearby supply chains, no margin for last-minute fixes — just extraordinary beauty and an intricate web of logistics that requires someone who genuinely knows this place, is deeply invested in your experience, and will show up for you completely.
